Obwohl die Firma MOBA schon seit über 30 Jahren ausbildet, kam es im Jahr 2011 mit der Eröffnung des Ausbildungszentrums zu einem entscheidenden Meilenstein. Hiermit bekamen die Auszubildenden eine „Heimat“ mit speziell für sie ausgerüsteten Arbeitsplätzen mit modernstem Equipment für die Ausbildung zum Beruf des „Elektronikers für Geräte und System“, aber auch für den digitalen Unterricht. Darüber hinaus übernahm Frank Wolf die Aufgabe des Ausbildungsleiters in Vollzeit.

Anfang September 2020 durfte MOBA den Füllstandsensoren (FLS-2) in den Hausmüll-Unterflurbehältern der BSR (Berliner Stadtreinigung) installieren. In Berlin erfolgt die Müllentsorgung in den neu gebauten Wohngebieten hauptsächlich über Unterfluranlagen. Aktuell gibt es in Berlin insgesamt mehr als 700 solcher Entsorgungsbehälter, die für jede Art von Müll ausgelegt sind, wie z.B. Glas, PPK, Wertstoffe, Rest- und Biomüll.

Seit Mitte Juni komplementiert ein Hitachi-Bagger ZX160LC-5 mit einer 2D Baggersteuerung Xsite PRO von der MOBA Mobilen Automation AG den Maschinenpool des überbetrieblichen Ausbildungszentrums Bau des Landes Baden-Württemberg in Geradstetten. Als einer der drei Sponsoren neben Kiesel GmbH und SMP Parts GmbH beteiligt sich die MOBA Mobile Automation AG somit maßgeblich daran, junge Auszubildende Maschinenführer auf die Baustelle der Zukunft vorzubereiten.
